Dr Ayham Sbahi qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2006 after graduating from Azerbaijan. Following graduation, he practised dentistry and worked as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery across various hospital departments, gaining broad clinical and surgical experience.
In 2016, Dr Sbahi successfully passed the Overseas Registration Examination (ORE) conducted by the General Dental Council and has since practised dentistry in both NHS and private settings in the UK.
Dr Sbahi is an implant-focused dentist with a strong interest in evidence-based, minimally invasive implant dentistry. He has completed hands-on training in dental implant placement and is currently undertaking a MSc in Dental Implantology in the UK, ensuring his practice aligns with current clinical guidelines and contemporary techniques.
His clinical approach emphasises thorough assessment, digital planning (including CBCT-guided workflows), and long-term functional and aesthetic outcomes. He has particular experience in dental implants, tooth replacement, socket preservation, and bone grafting procedures.
Dr Sbahi enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a special interest in Dental Implantology, focusing on the preservation and longevity of natural teeth. He strongly believes that prevention is better than cure and adopts a conservative, staged approach to treatment planning tailored to each patient’s needs.
He is committed to clear communication and patient-centred care, taking time to explain treatment options and ensure patients feel informed and confident in their decisions. Dr Sbahi regularly undertakes continuing professional development to remain at the forefront of modern dentistry.
Dr Sbahi is fluent in English, Russian, and Arabic. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, and scuba diving, and looks forward to welcoming you to the practice.
