”After years of playing football and rugby as a youth into my early twenties, my teeth took some knocks. Admittedly, I didn’t look after them as well as I could have either. Over the last ten years I began to lose more of my upper teeth and eventually I had 2 left. I did get some dentures, which I never found comfortable but over the years the loss of teeth had a profound effect on my confidence and even simply what I could eat. I had to investigate implants. Was I nervous, yes! I need not have been. The team at Coppertop Dental Surgery, Dr Pretam Gharat and his team (the specialist) were all great throughout the whole process. I won’t lie, the procedure isn’t comfortable, more so for the next week or so. You have had surgery on your mouth after all, but it does heel, the pain goes away and it’s simply a game changer for me. I have been able to eat apples and nuts for the first time in 20 years without worrying about breaking a tooth. The personal confidence is just as significant. To be able to smile again without thinking about it! It’s expensive, but worth every penny in my opinion. I cannot recommend doing this enough if you can, the whole team are there with you throughout. I will get the bottom teeth done next!
